PoliceMen- Are they Humans or Not?

One Question
How many of you like the word “Police”?
Another Question
How many of you hate the word “Police”?
Hmm another Question
How many of you feel “police” are humans too?
Last Question
How many of you can give a valid reason for your answer?

Take Maldivian population in general, the mere usage of the word police would lead to a conversation which in turn will lead to a new topic “politics”- but everyone make sure that they can give the best curse to the police fraternity or personals.
If we think positive from two different angles then I don’t find any problem in POLICE nor in the way they deal with. Now let’s talk about the way they handle situations- I mean this is something that everybody talks about nowadays or on the tip of there tongue after the political crises came into effect from day 1 till to date. Unlike us (in general) I feel that police has got a major role to play in the society whether it’s crime stopping or disaster management- and I believe that they are doing it at the fullest possible way, but with thousands of hindrance in front and back of them ”braving them with deaf ears”. Just imagine a day when you are busy throwing stones and creating havoc in the society for some or the reason that you think is appropriate, but the law says it’s inappropriate and in short it’s coming as a nuisance in the way of a common man’s life. Now imagine a police van coming towards you, rolling a red carpet infront of you and asking you to climb into the van with at most honor where the police are beating the trumpets and welcoming you in- Is that the way to arrest a trouble creator? Or is that the way you expect them to come and take you with pride and honor? Even if they ask you to come and get into the jeep with honor, the culprit wont obey it at times and it’s those time the FORCE is used. When a police (star force/any force/military etc) personal ask you to get into a police van for interrogation or for arresting, would you get in properly? In short you would try your best to run away from the scene and its human psychology and you don’t expect the police personalities to just stand there and watch you running or rather say stand there and watch you shouting slogans, anti remarks against them abusing them with filth? Do you think when they hold you and try to drag you into a police van you would go decently? Some might and some might not, and this shuffle and hustle the victim gets bruised and there arises the problem.
Hundred people are in the strike, few hundreds are watching it and how do you expect the police to know who was there and who wasn’t there. A person who throws a stone at police can come and join the so called majority party “Kulhibala party” after his assault and do you think police would just watch it. Because of this mess and to create a better way the police started using video cam’s to capture the live scene and arrest the trouble creator. If someone hits you, it’s quite normal that you too hit that person back but they don’t do it as how much it’s been hyped. Another problem of the Maldives is that – Ah lets say it’s the parents who are spoiling there wards, a guy is caught for drugs/theft and the next moment you can see there parents coming there and howling and shouting things at the police where her/his son/daughter is caught and arrested. According to them even though there ward is shaking and can’t even make a step in his/her drug influenced state would be said- My son/daughter don’t take drugs, he/she don’t go out of there house, there are all very “baas ahaa kudin” and why should they steal? These parents would be supported by some people living in the locality. The police got no other way than releasing them- most of the time and the worst is that after releasing these “Parteys”- they (parents/parteys/relatives/neighbours) would pour a hot sauce of filth and would be spreading hatred towards the police section of the society.

Next comes to the torture cases happening in Maldivian jails, I don’t have a personal experience of any of these jails- neither Maldivian, Indian, American nor anywhere else in the world. But one thing with confidence I can say is that Maldivian’s are far more treated better than the other jails of the world. Neither I would say that its good to treat humans like that, but if you have done a crime then you should be punished for it.
If jails are like – having a big sofa for me to sit, provided a surrounded sound Jail(home) Theater system with a 24hrs Internet connected PC and provided with the best foods in the world with a big menu of my likes from seafood to multi cuisines. Ah then for sure, the first thing I would do after reaching Maldives would be stabbing some innocent fellow or rather a partey and go down to Jail. Isn’t that the job/living that an unemployed person can live? Everything at the cost of the government and in short FREE. If jail around the world started to be as good as the Maldivian’s demand, then I think there won’t be a fall in the rate of crimes in the world. Every fraction of a second a new rapist/murder/psychopath etc would emerge from nowhere. A Maldivian should be jailed in a foreign country to known the difference and this doesn’t mean that I was jailed, but I do think I can a see lot of things happening around the world and for sure media is providing us the best possible information. Put the famous Mariyam Rasheeda in a Maldivian jail and ask her the difference between the Indian jail and her experience.
In any crises – it would be the police who take the front action to bring order, peace and harmony in the country. Whether it is a tsunami or some other disaster or development management problem- police are the only people who come out to help you. They don’t work for themselves instead they work for you. Policeman doesn’t join police force with the hope that “Ah, I’m gonna be a policeman, now I can hit anyone like without any license or anything and nobody can question me”. There are some who think like that and who does like that but that doesn’t mean all does. It’s there work that they are doing but I won’t appreciate beating and hitting innocent people also.
Recently during a rioting in one of the atolls of Maldives, there was a particular scene that everyone had clapped for - enjoyed and said BRAVO BRAVO. The scene goes like this, a Bus came running at a damn high speed towards a police jeep parked with some star force team members in it, smashed the jeep and took them to a side. Now aren’t they too humans? Aren’t they too someone’s husband/son/brother? ( A Hindi filmy dialogue but so real) After some days the same guy who drove the bus was taken down for questioning and he acted as if the police who came to take him down hit him between his legs and was lying down and making a hell of noise and the police left him there- That’s the condition of the police now. I too would have made my fest felt on his face if I had the authority. Later the day there was a rumor that this guy was beaten up by police seriously and thrown to the road side and the whole atoll where he belongs came out to fight for injustice it seems. But everyone in the locality knew that he was a drug addict and there was nothing good that he does to the society.
There are thousands of casualties among the police itself, but nobody talks about it… I believe that they are also human beings and they too got certain rights.

This pic had a funny caption on the site where it was posted, tht the police are harassing and pushing a old man. But look more carefully, or else just put you in there place and think of how you would handle this situation where a big mob is disturbing the peaceful life.

*This doesn't mean that I'm a police officer or working in NSS nor I plan to work or seek a job there but this is what I think is happening and common man is viewing the concept POLICE from one eye whereas the other eye is closed.

My articles are solely my views and it's the way how I view the society and happenings- This is My way of thinking and I'm sorry if it hurts any of your feelings. Thank You

Is Burqa a Fashion or a Tradition?

A new trend, a new style or else lets say trying to amuse oneself or shall we say disguise oneself inside a scarf that according to some can hide all there sins- make them start to live a new lease of life with a tag labelled onto them as “alhugandu burqa allhan, ehenve ma alhuganduki me rangalhu dheen veyri kujjeh”.
From the beginning of year 2004- This trend of burqa came into Maldives where in each household one or the other start
ed wearing burqa the other day. It was a kind of a smiling shock to see Maldivian girls/ladies wearing burqa as the onlookers started to believe that finally Maldives is sticking to the religion which it promotes. By the end of 2005 the number of womenfolk’s wearing burqa raised so enormously that we all started to give a wondering smile of shock.
There was a question on everyone’s mind why did all this girls/ladies started wearing burqa all of a sudden and many didn’t know the answer for this very own question. But like how Osama hides in the caved areas of Afghanistan hiding inside in the caves and protecting him from the tri force of Americans, Russian and Britain etc to name a few had got a few relief of safety. The American claim to have smoked Osama out of those caves where he was hiding and which he thought was protecting him. The same way- womenfolk’s are hiding under a scarf called burqa after committing all the sins. Osama has got a reason to hide as he is fighting against the injustice shown towards the Arab world by the rest of the world, but tell me why this womenfolk’s have to? I’m not saying that all women’s who wear burqa are like this but now most of them who are wearing burqa in Maldives are not good and they are doing it as a part to hide there long committed sins. There are girls who talk all the country shit and still pretend to be a good girl by wearing burqa.

A lady happen to go to a friends place and there she see her friend wearing a burqa and she likes the style in which she was wearing the burqa and thus a conclusion comes from tomorrow on I too will wear a burqa at least it wont let others see my small falling hairs or else it might even hide the marks on my neck and might give me a new personality look. There are thousands such silly reasons for which the women of this century are wearing burqa.
Installing a burqa on your head successfully isn’t enough for you to be a so called “Solih kujjeh/anheneh”. The meaning is vast from various widths and heights.

Wearing a burqa but showing your navel and working around is not how it’s been told in Quran.
Wearing burqa with a big necked shot tops is not how it’s been said in Quran
Wearing burqa with see through skirts is not how it’s been said in Quran
Wearing burqa and indulging in sexual pleasures before marriage is not how it’s been told in Quran
Wearing burqa and doing bad things isn’t how it’s been said in Quran.

Burqa is not a fashion but it’s a tradition and respect the tradition. If you can’t then do it why abuse it or give a bad meaning for it?
Youngester of this generation feels that if a girl wears a burqa it means that she has done a big crime and is trying to hide herself from that. Whereas in earlier day it was so different- Everyone respected the girls who wear burqa and look at nowadays. It’s so different.

This is famous Maldivian film star Nisha, she said that she wont act anymore instead she is going to be a good lady from now on and she started wearing burqa- who know wat all sins she committed and just look at this pic, which talks more about how good she is.

Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty......And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms...." (Quran 24:30,31).

!There are good girls who wear burqa also- My aim is at the bad girls of the society who wear it just for the sake of wearing or as a fashion!

an Encounter With Jaheen

Not a bad day at all
Bunked my class and went to see a movie- It was more like I was watching a Hindi Video songs VCD. But the songs didn’t disappoint me, it were half good and did had some mental stress free time. Oh I just forgot that I was suppose to meet a friend of mine- Jaheen is his name and he is emotionally disturbed as a old man told him during his last holiday visit to a remote atoll that his name is too modern instead he should try sulaimaan and I too support the old man. After all what a name right? Anyways lets move on with the day- I gave him a ring and he told me “I’m at continental bookshop- come there yo”. To my horror I found him there in the same manner as I left him on the streets of Ma faanu some 2 years back. He didn’t change a bit even but he did tell me that I put on some weight- Now don’t look at me like that- I’m just 80 kgs.
Here comes the best part- we went for a romantic lunch and asual fooding is ma favourite- Yummy.
He said he want biryani after looking at that big menu and I was just staring at him and the only question that my lips dare to mutter out was- Why does all this Maldivians ask for Biryani and Tandhoori and that’s a question which I always have coz whoever it is- they all have this craze for tandoori and biryani. But I’m glad that my search for the answer is over as I met this guy as a gods send gift for ma ever long question of WHY?
With his watery
mouths and trying to hide his hunger in his eyes- He told me- It’s coz we all know that only and we don’t like the other stuffs we hear (Dosa, Iddli etc). Now that’s an answer for a ever long question. My eyes almost got filled in excitement but I never showed it out as I don’t like to cry.
After that we were busy discussing about the current Maldivian political appraisal and we came to a conclusion- BirthdayParty (BDP). Please Join us. Our symbol is Balloons.

We departed like lovebirds-SNiff

Parent-Hood

Somewhere there in me lays a desire,
A desire which I'm nurturing,
With passage of days, months and years,
A hope to see it grow beautiful and lovely,
So gorgeous and so humble that anyone would,
Go down on there knees begging for it,
Be it you or anyone or me,
It still makes this world more beautiful-
More meaningful and make it a better place-
To live, to love and to leave,
To live with a hope of loving to live it,
To love with a hope of living to love it,
To leave it with our living loved ones.
The feeling of its arrival makes us so happy
That we forget our sorrows, our tensions and our problems
A feeling to have it as soon as possible,
Happy to be associated with it and
Happy to possess it and walk with it
When it comes out of our dreams to the real world
We jump of joy forgetting every sad aspect of our life,
We start to love to live another 100 more years with its presence
We start to love our life all over again to be with it,
We start to dream more about its future,
The joy that tickles our eyes with a tear
When we see it looking at us and calling us
Mother ….. Father
by myself

That's a poem that just tilted my imaginative world...

Me alley Insaafeh tha?

Ah I was sitting so relaxed on my resting chair and all of a sudden this thing struck me. You all must be quite aware of the recent craze for forums among Maldivian’s.
Almost two years back I had my encounter with this forums and I happened to bump with one while using mIRC- again a quiet famous chat client among Maldivian’s. I think that was the first forum in Maldives which met with all the regularities needed by an internet freak to pass of his/her valuable time. I won’t even deny the fact that even I was hooked to it for many months- busy posting pics of people who are never known to me and busy making stuff and using my creativity and energy, like any normal internet freak- I had always made sure that I would be visiting that forum and half of my time during those days were engaged in reading/posting/editing for it. It was fun and quiet a way to pass my time. As always good things don’t last for long- my bad times came in the way of my own pics hitting the forum. I was quiet happy and excited to see my own pics there, but I never knew what it would be bringing me into. Some believed that I was the one who posted my own pics and some believed that I was advertising myself- neither of which was true. A friend of mine took my pics from ma personal homepage and posted them.

One peaceful day while surfing through the pages watching each and every post, I saw a similar face “Ah isn’t this my sis?” Doomsday was on its way- the next I saw my sister with a thunderstorm on her hand throwing one after the other on my hairy ass and when she was done- I had a waxed and smooth ass. Then only I realised what I was doing wasn’t good. Yah it’s true that we learn from experience and here I was facing one of the worst truth of myself engaging in a bad activity. She thought I was behind this sting operation and how can she believe me when she find my own posts in the forum and to make it worse – Evidence as my pics are lying here and there on the forum. I hated myself for what I did- But what I can do was just regret that I did something like that.
But one way I can say that I wasn’t that bad as compared to other forumers who post things right now. I use to post pics of friends who ask me to post them and then I edit pics on there own request. The result was that I QUIT the forum and after a month I came to know that 100 more forums have taken birth and business was flourishing at such a speed that even youngster didn’t have time to check there mails, reply to there Instant Messaging clients (MSN, YAHOO!, AOL etc) and they couldn’t even fulfil the purpose for which they came online.
Present day guys are running here and there with cam’s hung on there neck and with there mobiles with 2MP and 1.3MP cam for capturing each and every frame of girls on the road. Every single human being on earth got the basic right but I don’t think anyone got the write to interfere into someone’s personal life as such. Everyone doesn’t want to be on the limelight.
I’m not against the idea but I’m not against the way it’s been carried on- its not innovative thinking at any means. It can be used to bring out the illegal stuffs happening in and around the country. Take any forum the main concentration would be girls and nothing else. I believe that we can make a difference with this forum also by posting things that ain’t fair enough happening the society like posting pics and stuff related to people who are indulging in bad activities, molesting, addiction and other various activities- the list would be ever increasing if we start to name them. I don’t mind to see pics of girls been posted while they are indulging in activities in which they are not meant too, but I’m not also supporting the posting of pics of nude girls. There are bad/prostitutes/advantage seeking gals etc in the society post there pic but not the pic of gals whom u guys cheat. It’s more like getting into a relationship and just before break up take some pics of her and post them saying she’s a BADI? It just take a second to imagine- Imagine that a girl takes pic of you with your thingy thing on your hand and lying on the bed asking her to come down or you standing under the shower with your hairy ass and then later after ditching you- she post them to all the leading forums of the country. I bet you would be thrown down to floor after seeing them and if that can be the emotions of the strong section of human beings (male) as believed then what would be condition of the weaker section (females)?
You don’t need a rocket scientist brain to think all this, we all are rational beings so be rational. If this practice goes on like this then I think I should be going to marry a girl from another country as all the girls nude pics would be posted in the coming years by some sick head. If u don’t love then don’t make fun of it also, she does it not just because she’s willing to tear off her cloths but she loves you and try to respect that. Its quiet a funny thing- that’s if you have noticed it- Most of the pics posted would have a under comment- that this or that girl is available and she’s willing to play around. But the truth is the person who takes the pic doesn’t even know who she is where she is from or what she is, but they are fast enough to name them and give them a bad status.
Many people just throng onto the computer screens to see these pics and all they can do is give some work to there hand and nothing else. What’s the point of doing something not worth enough? Not for now nor for ever?
Mee tha Insaaf aaki?
[The two pics are of the same gal, who did CS with her X-Bf's and after he ditch her- HISTORY]Guess Work!!
